im trying to think of fun stuff to draw after i finish this last commission, and i did start a leon (re4) pic i posted to twitter circles… and ive been killing time with playing sky. i havent been aroundmuch and i feel like im Lurking 24/7 instead of interacting! it kind of sucks. whats everyone up to? whats a popular game in yr circles? i have literally just been chewing on resident evil (grimy game) and tucking in skykids (playing sky: children of the light on mobile/switch) and thats been lots of fun. sky is really really good (and yes if you play too please let me invite you, or you send me an invite link, ill send u light and hearts etc..! double hearts event rn or in the next days..)
im gonna try to get back into the swing of art but oh my god it has been harder and harder over the last few years :( i had a small stint in like, 2019ish where i was making stuff but man……….. yikes…….. any of u get all stuck in a feedback loop with that whole ‘well i never wanted to make CONTENT i wanted to make ART!’ thought? thats me rn struggling with the idea that ppl may interact with me as a content machine and not as a person behind a screen who draws… idk i guess it doesnt matter but i feel that way a lot and then i shut down! to the point i have realised now im making friends who have no idea i draw and its kind of funny.
anyway i hope youre all doing ok or doing your best. i know u are. but wishing u all well in the meanwhile ^^ hope to have some fun art to share at some point again soon…!

okay im using the tumblr app on my tablet (i still dont have full pc access LOL) and omfg the ads tho… everything is so busted… i didnt use the tumblr app for years and strictly only use(d) it via desktop, so its interesting to be locked to only app.
anyway i havent been able to stop playing sky children of the light (otherwise just called sky) its a mobile game thats actually been around for a few years (3!) and i only JUST got into it fully despite downloading it on my last phone abt a year ago…? but its been impossible to put down…………..

the first image is colette and the unicorn (tho the unicorn is reborn by the time the middle image is happening, shes holding a young one in her arms and the sketch is soooo silly). i couldnt find the source of the legend i was thinking of, where a unicorn actually stabs someone (through the heart) with its horn to “heal”/bless them, if theyre “pure of heart” it succeeds. i think colette’s determination fits the legend perfectly… also, she deserves to hold a baby unicorn.
sheena is another favourite. i wanted to draw her looking messy. her clothes are fine but she’ll never see that hair tie again (but “someone” absolutely makes a show of chasing it down). you ever think about mountains?
