Help me avoid homelessness for my birthday (8/23) please!!!
Today, 7/19/22, I got a notice to quit from my housemates. We aren’t on good terms and this SUCKS and it’s all short notice - I need as close to my $5000 goal as soon as possible! ANYTHING HELPS!
I have until 8/19/22 to have my finances in order and apply for housing, and after that date my housemates can decide to take me to court and possibly make it really hard for me to secure housing and I’ll be living out of my jeep. :’) If I reach my goal sooner it helps me avoid all that garbage and hopefully leave sooner!!
The money raised goes toward paying down my jeep, and down payments for moving-related costs.

I am currently figuring out temp housing, and things are looking to be a little rocky for as long as I have to fundraise to meet my needs. I will have an update soon to post on the GFM regarding what funds are going to here on out- I’ve been able to use the funds to pay down my jeep as planned and only have about $500 left on that portion. (THAT is a huge relief for me)
After I get that finished up, the rest is ALL moving funds (mostly for costs related to actually moving in somewhere, like movers, truck rental, buying basic furniture I won’t have anymore, etc). Please help me hit my goal! An update is coming tomorrow after I can share a proper screenshot of my payment being made :)

im almost at 500 and i just near-emptied my bank again with a $900 payment on my jeep (with the help of the donos received so far) while i wait for the next day of donations to deposit to my bank.. if i could hit $500+ today that would be awesome!!!
my deadline is just…. to reach my goal as soon as possible, really, any time before august 19th. i didnt put that in the original post but its like, i think its so short notice to hope for 5k in less than a month but… because i have under 30 days now to figure something out and i dont have time to get a second job etc… im just tired of struggling i have been trying to save and life has been like “fine, heres a billion things you need to pay out of nowhere” like $1200 for car maintenance (brakes/tires) or gas prices skyrocketing (and now slowly dropping where i live, but my god)
i havent really talked about it anywhere except on my locked twitter but i have been having a fucking hell of a year. thanks for sharing, everyone.
