Hi! My name is Rend, and I really thought I’d never have to make one of these, but my current life situation demands it!
I’ll be as straight forward as possible, because I know everyone hates a guilt trip. I have had an ongoing wrist injury for 3 years, that has now reached at point where I am unable to work without being in excruciating pain. I’m taking a required medical leave of absence from my job, and seeking treatment, but its unpaid, and I am the sole provider for my household.
I live with my girlfriend who is currently trapped at 15hrs a week, that barely covers car payments, and I am responsible for $2200 monthly for bills - $2500 if I’m counting food. Unless I can get some outside help, I may wind up homeless, or in substantial debt I may never be able to dig myself out of.
If you can help chip in, I’d really appreciate it. My current goal is $2000 to cover all of my bills this month, but I know thats a long shot. Every cent helps.
An update on this: I’ve gotten my first treatment, and I am going to be out of work for 4 weeks at the absolute minimum, pending further treatment after an mri and nerve testing - meaning I need nearly double what I initially assumed. I’m going to try and get government assistance, but I’m not hopeful. Any bit helps 😔
Situation just got so much worse because now I also dont have a car! Lol!

i love jolly geologist soooo much just look at them excited about rock formations and crystals… its been 3 months since i havent listened to myself but i have the most massive urge to draw them for myself as an icon somewhere (idk where tho)
I’m raffling off some of my cave art inspired work including a relief sculpture and two of my lino prints in support of Palestinians in need of help. The sculpture is 19.5cm x 14.5cm (including frame), and is designed to hang on a wall. The lino prints are A6. Can be posted anywhere!
